Messages from our Chapel Family |
¨ Dear Chapel,
I just want to
thank all of you for your love and caring about me in my recent surgery. I
cannot believe all of the cards, calls and letters, and visits from the Parish
Nurse, and Most of all , I appreciate the outpourings of yards of beautiful
cotton cloth for the Quilt Room.
These are
gifts that keep on giving. Geraldine is making a quilt, and even with her brave
fight for her life, her husband and other quilters are helping her finish her
quilt. Faith visited her with yards of backing for her to choose from. We are
trying to put it together for her. Jill may do the binding. Also, Coco is trying
to finish her Quilt before she moves, but with many bouts of child illnesses,
she is not asking for help, but Bethany has offered to sew it together. The
quilt room helped our girl from Genesse House to finish her quilt for her baby.
There are so many wonderful
stories of magic coming out of that quilting room. Thank You, Thank you, Thank
You. Love in the Chapel, Claire.

On behalf of my family and myself I would like to thank Pastor Dave and our
church family at Chapel by the Sea for all the prayers for our brother Bob. He
is home and recovering slowly thank the good Lord and he is proof God hears our
prayers. Bob said he hopes one day to thank everyone in person for all their
prayers when he can come visit and attend our church Amen!!

Coco and I would like to thank everyone at The Chapel for their love and
generosity towards our family. We will miss you and look forward to sharing
with you what God is doing on the West coast in the new church plant. Our new
